These Terms and Conditions of Service ("Terms" or "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you", "your", "yourself"), and Veritas Apps ("Company", "we", "our" or "us"), the owner and operator of the mobile application, The King"s FM ("the App") along with the website, thekingsfm.com (the "Site") and other related services (collectively the "Service(s)") falling under The King"s FM brand ("Brand") .



These Terms contain important information about your rights and obligations in relation to our Services and your access and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance and compliance with these Terms.



The Terms on this page (thekingsfm.com/terms) along with our Privacy Policy located at thekingsfm.com/privacy govern the rules and regulations of our Services, therefore please take some time to read these policies.



By accessing or using any part of the Services, you warrant and represent that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to abide by any part of these Terms or Privacy Policy, please do not access, use or participate (or continue to access, use or participate) in the Service.



We reserve the right in our sole discretion to modify, remove or replace any part of these Terms without limitation, and it is your responsibility to periodically check for updates. Upon updating these Terms, we will post a notice on our website for 7 days from the time of update and the revised Terms will be effective the earlier of

  • The first time you access, or use the Services after such changes

  • The end of the 7 day period aforementioned



By continuing to use the Services after the effective date of any changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If the revised Terms, require any action from you in order to accept the Terms, you are prohibited from using the Services until you have taken such action.

1) Description of the Service

This Service can be used to train the youth, students, volunteers and more to practice the art of radio jockeying while providing some light entertainment through our virtual points and rewards system. This Service can be used by institutions which undergo or provide learning opportunities related to media, hereafter known as Training Providers, however may also be used for personal use. Each user and Training Provider must be solely responsible to abide by their government laws and regulations and we bear no responsibility for any misuse of the Service by you. We may in our sole discretion change, make improvements to or discontinue any part of the Service, temporarily or permanently at any time.



2) Your Activity on the App

When you create an account with the Service through the App, through customer service or otherwise, only then will additional services be available to you. At the time of registration, your personal information will be required to proceed and the specifics of the requirements will be made known to you during registration. Information about the collection and processing of your information can be found in our Privacy Policy, which requires your acceptance in order to participate in the Service. You are not obligated to create an account to use the App, however use of the App may be limited.



A) Eligibility

To register with the Service, you must not be under the age of 13 and you must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.


If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have your parent or guardian read, understand and agree to these Terms including our Privacy Policy before creating an account with the Service. Users aged 18 and above are responsible for reading, understanding and agreeing to our Terms and Privacy Policy before account creation.



B) Your account

Following registration of your account, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable, personal, limited, revocable license to access and use additional features of the Service available for account holders only.


  1. Providing accurate information - When registering, it is your responsibility to provide us with information that is completely true, current and complete.

  2. Maintaining accuracy of information - Throughout the time you have an account with the App, it is your responsibility to maintain the accuracy of information, making the best effort to prevent obsolete information from being associated with your account by ensuring that updates to information are duly made and information provided to us is always true, complete and current.

    • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if information is found to be untrue, not current or incomplete.

  3. Choosing appropriate usernames - It is your responsibility to use sensible and appropriate usernames when registering, refraining from using offensive or obscene usernames or usernames which may be indicative of a business that you do not have the right to claim association with, impersonate others or otherwise infringe the rights of a third party.

    • If we determine that a username is inappropriate, obscene or otherwise objectionable, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to remove or change usernames or take any action as we find appropriate without notice.

  4. Safeguarding account credentials - It is your responsibility to keep your username and password confidential.

  5. Report unauthorised use - It is your responsibility to immediately notify us in the event of a third party gaining unauthorised access to your account using your username and password and of any breach of security to your account.

  6. Agree to keep the account solely under your control - It is your responsibility to manage your account whiten the scope permitted by the App and you agree to refrain from participating in prohibited activities such as selling your account to others which you are not entitled to do as you do not possess full ownership of said account.



C) Virtual Points

  1. General

    2. The Virtual Points Rewards System ("Rewards System" or while part of this subsection: 2C - "this feature") grants authenticated users (users with an existing account with the Service) the opportunity to obtain prizes available through the App. After applying to partake in the Rewards System through the App, you will be granted a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-sub-licensable, non-exclusive, revocable license to collect points on the App. By participating in this feature, you acknowledge that these points are not your private property but are licensed to you to for your enjoyment and these points do not reflect monetary value in real world currency.



  2. Who can participate?

    3. All users with a personal account may participate and users with an organisation account may participate if the Rewards System feature is available for their account type.



  3. How can you gain points and prizes?

    4. Points are accrued by completing challenges instructed on the Rewards Page of the App. Users can choose to participate in the Rewards System through the App and after applying, users can immediately start their endeavours to earn points. Regularly active users who have had an account with the Service for more than 6 months from the time of account creation can then start to redeem their points for prizes offered on the app, which may occasionally include cash (collectively ‘Prizes’) of an amount specified in the App. Please be aware that these points are for your personal use only and you may not sell or transfer points to others in any way including through selling accounts which is not permitted and you may not encourage others to partake in such prohibited activity in compliance with the terms of the license.



  4. Your Responsibilities Regarding the Rewards System

    5. Some challenges may require you to use social media, or a social media platform of your choice to complete them. It is your responsibility to appropriately and sensibly use these platforms, without causing any sort of inconvenience to others.


    By participating in the Service, you agree to not behave in any manner that discredits, disparages or tarnish in our opinion the Service.
    You are solely responsible for the way you behave on social media and you are subject to the terms of the third party platform you use to complete challenges.


    We are not liable and do not bear any responsibility for the way you share on any type of social media platform and you agree to exonerate us and the Service from any adverse consequences because of your misconduct.


    When communicating with customer service or our administrative department for this Service, you agree to be professional and maintain a positive interaction, refraining from discourtesy which includes but is not limited to using impolite, disrespectful or otherwise objectionable language and harassing and/or abusing our staff.



  5. Availability of Prizes

    6. Please be aware that Prizes may not always be available, however in the event of your request being unobtainable we will almost always provide you recompense in gifts that are available for the same point value, as long as you comply to these Terms.


    We reserve the right to reject a request if we determine that you have improperly used the Rewards System or have breached these Terms or for any reason as we see fit. By using the Service, you agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless of any losses financial or otherwise arising from your use or access of the Service which you solely take responsibility for.


    We will send you a notice if we ever find it appropriate to reject a request for the reasons aforesaid and you agree to fully comply and cooperate with us and fully and peaceably accept such notice on account of your agreement to be bound by these Terms prior to participating in this Service in the first place and therefore you are fully aware that your participation is at your sole risk.



  6. Termination of your Rewards Participation by us

    7. We may terminate your access to the Rewards System Feature available on the App for reasons including but not limited to:

    • Breach of regulations

    • We have reason to believe that you have attempted to or engaged in abuse of the feature by using fraudulent, deceptive or improper means to gain an advantage relating to the Rewards System.


    Termination of access to the Rewards System, whether directly or indirectly through account termination will result in all points accumulated being lost and you will not be entitled to any of the Prizes we offer.


    We will notify you prior to, or immediately after, the termination however if there happens to be a failure in giving such notice, termination will still be effectuated.



  7. Availability of this feature

    8. For a number of reasons, the Rewards System feature may be interrupted by maintenance, technical issues or other related issues. By participating in this feature and in the Service, you agree to accept these possible setbacks which may or may not be within the scope of our control and to be patient while we work to resolve such issues and as we strive to recondition the Service to become fully operational and you agree to accept any changes made to this feature and the Service overall.


    We reserve the right at any point in time at our sole and absolute discretion without notice to change, modify, replace or remove this feature from our Service as we continue to improve our Services over time. In the process of the aforementioned changes which may or may not occur, users may or may not lose all their points and may not be able to redeem such points.



D) Your Submissions

  1. General

    2. Any content that users submit relating to the Services fall under the following categories:

    • Feedback - Refers to any feedback related to the Service, its operation and potential improvements including but not limited to ideas, reports, recommendations, suggestions, questions, comments or otherwise any information regarding the Service submitted by you (collectively ‘Feedback’).

    • Contributions - Refers to any content of any form including but not limited to graphics, videos, audios, photographs, images, text, personal information or other material, submitted by you (collectively ‘Contributions’).



  2. Feedback

    3. Feedback is welcomed to allow you to give voice to and express your thoughts and feelings about the Service, address your concerns and improve your experience as a user as well as others.
    You may be asked to provide feedback but have no obligation to do so.


    • What happens when you submit Feedback?

      • When you submit any Feedback to us whether written or oral and whether required or on a voluntary basis, as long as you have the necessary rights to submit the Feedback, we gain ownership of the submission and you agree to irrevocably transfer and grant us all intellectual property rights, thereby entitling us to use and distribute such Feedback for any lawful purpose whatsoever commercially or non-commercially without restriction, notice, acknowledgement or compensation to you in perpetuity. You acknowledge that we have no obligation to use, incorporate or make changes based on any aspect of your feedback and you are not entitled to compel or harass us to act in any way upon receiving your feedback.


    • In what circumstances, can you not submit Feedback?

      • You may not give us Feedback if such Feedback is subject to the rights of a third party, subject to a license that requires our intellectual property to be licensed or otherwise shared with any third party or that assigns the rights and entitles third parties to use or interface any specific parts of our Services that may integrate the Feedback.



  3. Contributions

    4. Our Service allows you to submit Contributions as defined in Section 2D(I) and by using the Service, you warrant that you are solely responsible for the content of such Contributions and the Contribution is yours.


    • Under what circumstances are you allowed to submit Contributions?

      • You may only submit Contributions as long as you possess the necessary rights, licenses and permissions of the Contribution as the creator of the Contribution, your Contribution does not infringe the rights of any person or entity and your Contribution complies to and is in accordance with the Agreement and the law.



    • What happens when you submit Contributions?

      • When you submit any Contributions generated by you, you remain as the sole creator and retain ownership of such Contribution and you agree to grant us and our affiliates, representatives, sublicensees and successors, unlimited, unrestricted, irrevocable, perpetual, non exclusive, transferable, royalty free, fully paid, worldwide license to use, display, publish, translate and otherwise reproduce, excerpt (in whole or in part), modify, adapt, distribute and otherwise exploit all your Contributions for any lawful purpose commercial or otherwise in any and in all forms and in any and in all media related to the Service without compensation to you.


      During submission, details of your name, company name, franchise name, as applicable that you provided will be collated as part of your Contribution. Therefore, this license applies to our use of this identifiable information as well as any of the logos, trademarks, trade names, service marks and personal and commercial images that you may voluntarily provide to us.


      This applies to Contributions of or derived from any form, media or technology known now or developed hereafter. You agree by using the Service that this license (‘Contribution License’) cannot be terminated once you submit your Contribution as long as you have an account. By voluntarily submitting Contributions, you agree to Contributions being made publicly viewable to others through the Service or through any media relating to the Service and you represent and warrant that our use and distribution of your Contribution will not infringe your rights nor the rights of any third party, including, without limitation copyright, patent trademark or otherwise intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights.


      By participating in submitting such Contributions to us through our Services or in other ways including but not limited to through customer service, through the administrative department or otherwise in any other way related to our Services, you expressly agree to exonerate us from all responsibility and agree to withhold from taking legal action against us in regards to your Contributions.



  4. Your Responsibilities Regarding Submissions

    5. You are solely responsible for the content including the statements and representations as well as the appropriateness of your Contributions and you warrant that we are not accountable for any statements or representations depicted or conveyed by your Contribution and that the statements and representations in your Contribution are yours.


    The following non-exhaustive list outlines some additional responsibilities associated with submissions other than the responsibilities already described in this Agreement:


    • All content must be non-confidential - All content must be non-confidential - It is solely your responsibility to prepare, evaluate and review the content of your Contribution before submission, which includes ensuring that no information conveyed by such submission is sensitive or confidential. We do not bear any responsibility for our use and distribution of your Contributions as we are entitled to by the terms of the foregoing license in Section 2C(III). By participating in the Service you agree and represent that you are solely and fully accountable for and we bear no responsibility for any consequences that may arise from your failure to fulfil this requirement.

    • Written Consents of Others - It is your responsibility to obtain written consents of any and every other person or entity that may be involved in your Contribution as required. We bear no responsibility for and you warrant that you hold full responsibility for any consequences that may arise from your failure to fulfil this requirement.

    • Abstain from Prohibited Content - It is your responsibility to stay clear of the following list of prohibited content. Your Contributions may not:

      • Provide false, misleading or inaccurate information

      • Promote abuse of any form such as discriminatory abuse towards any class or group including religious individuals, groups or entities in society, sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse and other forms of abuse. Examples include but are not limited to racism, bullying, hatred, bigotry, harassment, threatening and/or intimidation and violence towards a person or an entity or promote animal cruelty.

      • Contain sexual references or be of an obscene nature

      • Promote illegal activities or conduct that is slanderous, libellous, defamatory or otherwise objectionable as determined by us

      • Contain any form of media involving another person or entity without their written consent.

      • Discloses others personal information or exploit them in any manner.

      • Provide information that you are not authorised or entitled to provide such as but not limited to passing third party intellectual property or copyrighted work as your own submission.

      • Include any form of malware such as but not limited to viruses and trojan horses.



  5. Consequences

    6. By participating in the Service you expressly agree to reimburse us for any losses suffered because of any violation of these Terms.
    We reserve the right to remove or edit your Contributions without notice as we see fit, for example if we determine that the nature of the content contained in your Contribution is objectionable, we are entitled to remove your Contribution and any breach of this Agreement may result in, among other things, termination or suspension of your rights to use the Services.



E) Your Privacy

We care about your privacy and the security of your data. Please review our Privacy Policy which describes the way we handle data that is collected when you create an account with the Service.



3) Acceptable Access and Use of the Service

This Service is predominantly for training purposes and additionally contains secondary facilities such as our Rewards System for occasional entertainment. You may only use the Service as made available to you for lawful purposes on the condition that you completely avoid and stay clear of any prohibited activities described in these Terms as well as practice complete compliance to all of these Terms as agreed.



4) Prohibited Activities

This Service may only be accessed and used in the ways intended by us and for which we make the Services available, and you may not use our Service for any commercial purposes unless approved by us expressly in writing.
By using or accessing the Service you agree not to:

  • Improperly use our Services and additional support facilities we provide including to the detriment of us, the Service and/or any other third party by not doing or attempting to do the following:

    • Accessing the Service in a manner which knowingly or unknowingly disparages, discredits or harms us in our opinion or a third party

    • Using our Services in an illegal manner

    • Abusing or harassing employees or practicing any misconduct during any interaction with employees such as but not limited to communication that is abusive, racist or racially discriminating, offensive, threatening, obscene or generation of false reports.

    • Impersonating others, misrepresent your identity or using the Services with the intent to defraud others

  • Interfere with the integrity of the Service by not doing or attempting to do the following:

    • Interfering knowingly or unknowingly with the availability of the service for other users, including by disrupting the network or impose undue and disproportionally large loads on the Service

    • Circumventing, disabling, tampering with or otherwise interfering with security-related features, including bypassing restrictions set for limited content

    • Using non-human, automated or any other unsanctioned means to access or use Service

    • Uploading or transmit any type of malware such as viruses, Trojan horses

    • Use any robot, spider, site-scraping or other data extraction methods to improperly access the Service or any content therein

    • Disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer any of the software used to and from the Service unless permitted by law

  • Infringe the rights of us or any third party by not doing or attempting to do the following:

    • Delete copyright or proprietary rights notice from any content of ours

    • Invade the privacy of any other user

    • Disclose others personal information including that of a sensitive or confidential nature

    • Collect user data for unsolicited emails or for unauthorised framing of or linking to the Service,

    • Systematically retrieve or collect data or content from the Services to create indirectly or directly a compilation or database

  • Promote offensive conduct or content including but not limited to violence, discrimination, threats, abuse or obscenity

  • Improperly use the Service in ways not intended to be used for commercial use to generate revenue

    • Sell or transfer your account or virtual points /p>

    • Use the Service as part of an attempt to create a revenue generating enterprise that competes with us



5) Our Services

As long as you comply to these Terms and the law, we grant you a non exclusive, non transferable, revocable, limited license to access the Service as made available for non-commercial use only and mobile access to the Service must only be made through a mobile device that you own or control. You acknowledge that you assert no ownership or property interest of virtual points and accounts that you accrue or create respectively during the access or use of the Service but solely license the foregoing on the conditions described in this Agreement.



A) Availability Of Services

The Service can be accessed through a mobile device by browsing the Site and also by downloading the App from the Apple Store or Google Play Store (collectively each a ‘Distribution Channel’) depending on the operating system of the mobile device. Fees may be incurred when accessing the Service through a mobile device in accordance to your data plan with your provider including wireless service carrier standard charges, data rates and other fees. We are not responsible for any charges of this type, you are solely responsible for such charges. If you have any queries in regards to your data plan, please contact your service provider.


We cannot guarantee seamless operation of the Service at all times due to maintenance or technical reasons. Please note that these could be scheduled or unscheduled. We reserve the right to modify and discontinue any part of the Service as we see fit in our sole discretion without notice.


In relation to the downloading of the App on your mobile device, you will additionally be subject to the terms of the Distribution Channel from which you obtained the App. The Distribution Channel will enforce these Terms however these Terms are between us and you only. We will be solely responsible for following any claims made in relation to the App, You and the Company acknowledge that the Distribution Channel is not responsible for addressing these claims of you or any third party in relation to your use and possession of the App. We will be responsible, not the Distribution Channel for the whole investigation of your claim, any settlement, any charges made or resolutions to such claims.



B) Intellectual Property

  1. General

    2. Our intellectual property that we retain full ownership of falls under the following categories:

    • Service Content - All content made available to you on or through the Service (other than user Contributions) including graphics, images, designs, text, information, audio and other files and their arrangements.

    • Service Marks - Trademarks, service, marks and logos in connection with the Service.


    The Service Content and Service Marks are the exclusive proprietary property of us and our licensors. Nothing can be modified, copied, distributed, framed, reproduced, republished, downloaded, scraped, displayed, posted, transmitted, sold in any form or by any means, in whole or in part other than as expressly permitted. All rights are reserved. You agree that you will not use our proprietary property in any way other than the use for which it was intended in compliance with this Agreement. You may not use data mining, robots, scripting, or any other similar data gathering or extraction methods to access or acquire Service Content. Our Service Marks cannot be used without our written permission.



6) Breach Of Contract

Any violations of these Terms will be given serious consideration and will be handled as deemed necessary by us.


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts and refuse service if we determine that you have breached this Agreement. Subsequent to the termination of your account and/or your access to all or any part of the Service, all provisions of these Terms survive such termination and continue in full force and effect. You agree that after such termination you will not be entitled to any refunds for any amounts paid when your account was active.


We will handle breaches of this Agreement in any way relating to your use and access of the Service as we see fit in our sole discretion without notice including the removal of all Virtual Points or the temporary or permanent suspension of your involvement in our Rewards System available on the App.


Contributions that are objectionable in our opinion and are not in accordance with this Agreement or with the law will be removed or edited and repetitive offensive submissions will result in the termination of your account and the possibility of reporting your misconduct to the relevant authorities. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to retain information as necessary to assist investigations made by us including claims of Contributions infringing third party rights or investigations deferred to the relevant authorities which may result in the disclosure of such information to remain in accordance with legal processes.


By participating in the Service, you agree to adhere to these Terms and you agree that any form of non-compliance to these Terms by you, can result in you being subjected to us seeking financial compensation for any loss financial or otherwise, harm including that which discredits or disparages us due to your breach to these Terms.



7) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold us, our affiliates, our subsidiaries and its and their officers, employees, harmless from any loss, damage, rights, fees from Contributions or attorney fees, actions of any kind, claims arising due to or as a result of your use of the Services, consequences of your Contributions to which you are solely responsible for, violation of proprietary and other rights of third parties, acts of misconduct by you towards other users whom you connected to through the Service and any consequences arising out of your breach with this Agreement. We reserve the right to assume control and the exclusive defence over matters otherwise subject to indemnification by you at your expense, and you agree to fully cooperate with our defence in relation to such matters.



8) Disclaimer

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK AND THAT YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. WE NEITHER OUR AFFILIATES OR SUBSIDIARIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY LOSS WHETHER DIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT. THESE INCLUDE, WITHOUT LIMITATION PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR LOSS OF PROFITS THAT MAY OCCUR AS A RESULT OR ALLEGED RESULT INDIRECTLY OR DIRECTLY OF YOUR ACCESS OR USE OF THE SERVICE, YOUR BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT OR THE CONTENT POSTED OR TRANSMITTED THEREIN.


THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.


WE MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED THAT (I) THE SERVICES WILL OPERATE WITHOUT ERRORS OR INTERRUPTIONS, (II) ABOUT THE ACCURACY AND COMPLETENESS OF THE SERVICE’S CONTENT OR CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE ON OR THROUGH WEBSITES OR MOBILE APPLICATIONS RELATED TO THE SERVICES, (III) THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (IV) OR THAT THE QUALITY OF ANY INFORMATION OR MATERIALS OBTAINED BY YOU THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS. WE WILL NOT BEAR ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR (I) FAULTS OR INACCURACIES IN THE CONTENT OF THE SERVICE (II) ANY UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO OUR SECURE STORAGE OF PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL INFORMATION (III) ANY VIRUSES OR FORM OF MALWARE WHICH MAY BE TRANSMITTED BY ANY THIRD PARTY THROUGH ANY PART OF THE SERVICE INCLUDING THROUGH OUR SUPPORT SERVICE EMAILS.


REFERENCE TO THIRD PARTY SERVICES OR PRODUCTS WHETHER VIA LINKS OR THROUGH ADVERTISING DISPLAYED OR MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU ON THE SERVICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE OUR ENDORSEMENT OR RECOMMENDATION OF SUCH THIRD PARTY SERVICES OR PRODUCTS. WE DO NOT BEAR ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR TRANSACTIONS OR INTERACTIONS BETWEEN YOURSELF AND SUCH THIRD PARTIES FOR SUCH SERVICES AND PRODUCTS OFFERED AND HAVE NO OBLIGATION TO MONITOR SUCH INTERACTIONS. 9) Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted following the laws of England and the use of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sales of Goods is expressly excluded, regardless of your country of origin or where you access the Service.

This agreement was originally written in English (GB). To the extent that any translated version of this agreement conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.
