This Privacy Policy has been created by Veritas Apps (‘Company’, ‘we’, ‘our’ or ‘us') to inform our users (‘you’ or ‘your’ ) of the information that is collected from engaging in our services through our mobile application, The King’s FM (the “App”, “Application”) and other related services (collectively the ‘Service(s)’) falling under The King’s FM brand (‘Brand’) and why the collection of such information may be imperative in rendering certain aspects of the Service.


This Privacy Policy (or ‘Policy’) delineates when and how information is collected, stored and processed and the circumstances of which information may be shared when you use our Services for instance when downloading and creating an account on our Application or engaging with us in ways related to mentioned user account.


This Privacy Policy along with the Terms of Service posted on The King’s FM showcase website (thekingsfm.com) (collectively ‘Agreements’) outline the general rules and policies governing your use of our Services. 1. What information do we collect?

Information that is collected broadly falls under the following categories:

  • General Personally Identifiable information

  • Sensitive information (depending on the service requested by you on our application)

  • Application and Device Data


General Personally Identifiable information

The information that we may collect is only provided by you when you sign up and create an account on our Application, or otherwise when you contact the administrative department of our Application. We may collect the following information under the aforementioned circumstances:

  • Names / Organisation Names

  • Email Addresses

  • Usernames

  • Passwords

  • Phone Numbers


Sensitive Information

When participating in certain activities in the Application, we may require the following categories of sensitive information:

  • Financial data

This information is not compulsory for all activities available on our Application, but is compulsory for certain activities. Therefore, if you do not consent to provide us with such information when necessary, then you may not use the specific feature that requires such information to continue operation, however you may engage in other activities on the application that do not require the provision of such information.


Application and Device Data

While engaging in our Services through a mobile device, we may request access to certain mobile device features such as camera, gallery, storage and other features. You may grant/deny access to these features in your device’s settings, however denying access may inhibit you from engaging in certain features of our Application which require mobile access.


While accessing or using the App, your mobile device ID which is a unique identifier to distinguish your mobile device, will be used to recognise you. This is done to verify that the device currently being used to access the App is the same device that you previously used to sign into your account and to facilitate the resumption of user sessions.


By providing us with this information, you agree to this information being collected, processed and disclosed as described in this Policy and in our Terms of Service.



2. Why and how do we process your information?

We use your information to boost your experience while using our Application, as it enables us to deliver the fantastic services we provide tailored to you when you register with us.


Here are the ways we do this:

  • Facilitate account creation, updates and management

  • Information that you provide to us is first processed to create a working account for you on our Application which you can use to request additional services. Updates to your information can be made through the settings of our Application.

  • Deliver available services which fall under the categories of education, entertainment and more

  • When you create an account with us and thereby provide us with your information, we can provide you with the available services that you request for example access to a platform where users may practice developing their skills in media works particularly of the audio aspect.

  • Administer prize grants and competitions

  • Processing of your Information is used to carry out reward grants to users who request to participate in the rewards section of our Application when appropriate. Furthermore, information is processed to manage educational competitions of which educational institutes may volunteer to take part in after registering an account with us.

  • Send communications via email about your account updates, activity and other administrative information

  • Information may be processed in order to notify you of account updates and activity as well as to inform you of updates to our policies and other administrative information.

  • Providing you with Customer service

  • We may process your information to respond to user inquires, offer support, and provide necessary assistance in the event of an issue with your user account or with the requested service.

  • Address and respond to breaches of our Agreements

  • We may process information when handling any breaches of our Agreements in ways including but not limited to carrying out the suspension or termination of your account, suspending access to certain features as we see fit or if necessary deferring information to relevant authorities about your misconduct in order to comply with the law. 3. How do we safeguard your information?

The security of your information is of utmost importance to us and we have implemented appropriate and acceptable security measures in order to protect your information from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Though we strive to maintain these security procedures and practices with our best efforts, please be aware that there will always remain an unlikely possibility of technical errors in such safeguarding systems as no electronic based system can be absolutely guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorised users will not successfully infiltrate the security system through improper routes and means and obtain unauthorised access to stored information. By participating in the Service you expressly agree that you are aware of such unfortunate possibilities and your use of the service including transmission of your information to and from the Service is at your own risk and agree to hold us harmless in the rare and unlikely event of such misfortunes occurring. Moreover, it is your responsibility to access the Service within a secure environment so as to further limit the low likelihood of security related issues transpiring. Though there remains this minute and improbable possibility, we strive to and will continue to do our best to limit and mitigate the chances of this occurring by implementing maintenance procedures on the aforementioned security related measures in place.



How long do we keep your information?

Your information will be retained for the duration of the time you hold an account with the Service unless legal impositions require us to preserve your information for longer which may be more prevalent in cases of your breach of our Agreements.


Under normal circumstances, you may delete your account at any time through the settings of App which will lead to the deletion of your information from our systems. However if your account is under suspension as a result of violating the Agreement, you may be restrained from doing so. In this case, subsequent to further examination of your breach you may be granted access to delete your account or we may terminate the account ourselves if we find it appropriate to do so, discharging all information associated with your account at the time of account termination or after preserving such information for an expiring time frame determined at the time of the investigation in compliance and as required by law.



5. Under what circumstances is your information shared and with whom do we share your information?

In order to fulfil the purpose of and carry out the operation of the Service effectively we may need to disclose your information with the following:

  • Service Providers - Third party service providers with whom we work with to provide the Service in its full and working operational condition will have access to your information as they require so, to perform services related to the Service for us or on our behalf, to assist us in analysis of the ways the Service is being used as well as assist us in the provision of the Service. Your information will not be shared with others and the Service Providers will only access, use and retain your information for the length of time that we instruct.

  • Other Users or the Audience of the Service or media related to the Service - By participating in certain features of the Service that involve voluntarily submitting content generated by you, if your content is chosen with your permission or you volunteer for your content to be showcased or put on display through the Service or media related to the Service, your personally identifiable information such as your name, company name or franchise as applicable will also be viewable along with such content to attribute your work.


  • As specified in the Agreement, by voluntarily submitting content, you consent to your content being publicly viewable to others through the Service or through any media relating to the Service and your personally identifiable information being displayed with such content for attribution.


    If you do not wish for your content to be showcased on our other media related to the Service, you may submit this in writing and we will withhold your content and information from being viewed on our Service-related media platforms, however your content and accrediting information will still be shared on or through the Service as you volunteered to participate in submission to the Service which involves showcasing to other users of the Service.


  • (In case of breach) Relevant Authorities - As outlined in our Terms, we may have to disclose information to the relevant authorities if you severely breach the Agreement in ways contradictory to the law.



6. Will this Policy be updated?

This Policy will be updated from time to time. We reserve the right to modify, add to, replace or otherwise change any part of this Policy and subsequent to changes we will post a message on our website and display the date of the changes and a declarative message on the top of this notice. These changes will be made effective immediately on the date of posting displayed on the revised Policy.


It is your responsibility to and we encourage you to keep checking this Policy periodically as well as other policies part of our Agreement and your continued use of our Service after revisions of this Policy will constitute your acceptance of all modified policies including this Policy.
